About the Office of General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel provides advice to Sheridan on a broad scope of matters arising throughout the institution, including strategic support of Sheridan's mission and priorities.
The Office of General Counsel is also responsible for supporting policy development and procedures, risk assessment and prevention, and compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). Our General Counsel, Rajan Sandhu, acts as the Chair of the Administrative Policy Committee. The Office of General Counsel is also responsible for oversight of the Department of Records and Information Management.
Please note that the Office of General Counsel does not provide legal advice to individuals on personal legal issues or to other entities that may use Sheridan's facilities.
